3 best places to buy pure honey

Getting pure honey nowadays is really hard. The streets and every supermarket is filled with fake honeys branded with pure honey tags; If you have no idea how pure honey looks like, you are definitely going to fall a victim.

Most honey that are branded or claimed to be "pure" are fake or mixed with something else, only God knows.

Some honeys are mixed with water, others melted sugar and many other things. And any honey mixed with anything else is not considered pure.

You cannot trust a honey seller, not even if he or she is a beekeeper or in other words, honey farmer.

I once bought honey from the streets and the woman selling said a lot of nice things about how pure her honey is and the reason why I need to buy more from her; I sent this honey I bought from her home and my mom, who knows how pure honey looks like, told me straight forward that the honey is not pure, truly when we opened it and did the honey purity test, it was impure. Since then I have learnt how to spot fake or impure honey and through my experiences, I can now point you to the best places one can get the pure ones.

There are some spots where impure honey can never be sold; I am going to share that with you today so when you are buying honey there you would not have any doubts or whatsoever.

Here are the 3 best places to buy honey:

1. Drugstores.

In Ghana for example, drugstores are suppose to sell original and authentic products as required by the food and drugs authority of the country. So no drugstore is going to sell fake or impure honey to anybody. That is why it is best to buy honey from any accredited/licenced drugstore in your neighborhood.

2. Buy straight from the farm.

Do you know any honey farmer in your neighborhood or closer to where you live? Well, if you know of any, just head there straight and buy your honey. In situations like this, be extremely careful; make sure to test if it is pure or not.

Payment must be done after it's been confirmed by your tests that it is pure.

3. Supermarkets.

In Ghana, when we say supermarkets, we mean the fancy expensive ones that are filled with pure authentic products. Supermarkets do not want to soil their image so most honeys sold there are very pure.
